Moodwalks: Moodwalks is a program designed by the Canadian Mental Health Association. It is a structured series of group walks in nature (any season) that encourages mindfulness and physical activity for mental health promotion. Moodwalks is based on science showing psycho-emotional and social benefits of exercise with others in nature. A Moodwalks program consists of 10 walks, and can be organized for individuals or groups. Participants are also educated in basic safe hiking/walking practices. Walks can be urban or in nature parks. They can also be designed around age or different abilities (ie: poles, or bike paths for mobility aids)
